For All Ages

Each generation of our lives offers us fresh insight, unique ways of connecting with God and new abilities that we can share with the community.

At Grove, we make a conscious effort to provide opportunities for everyone—regardless of age—to participate in long-lasting and meaningful areas of our congregation and our community.

Families

When we attend church together as a family, it brings us closer and creates a stronger bond. Children are an important part of worship services, Faith Formation classes and outreach activities.

Meaningful activities done by the whole family facilitate communication on deeper levels.

These pictures show a sampling of family activities (see the Gallery to the right.) Family worship experiences, fun events and outreach opportunities are all great ways to spend meaningful family time. The buttons at the bottom of this page link to more details.

Youth

Grove Youth Ministries (GYM) are intentionally inclusive safe spaces for youth to explore who they are, who they want to be, what they believe, and what they want to do next.

Events include:

  • Games,
  • Social gatherings,
  • Youth Choir,
  • Faith formation classes,
  • Community outreach,
  • Rallies & retreats,
  • And more!

Our youth have a voice in choosing our events and content, ensuring their needs and interests are being met.

Children

From the smallest babies, to those knee-high to a grasshopper, and then even those that reach their parent’s shoulders without their tiptoes, Grove is blessed with their laughter and energy in the halls each week.

As a congregation we feel truly fortunate to guide these young ones on their path towards Christ.

Children are part of the life of Grove Church. They are encouraged to attend Worship with their families. They also have options if they wish to visit the Grace Space or move around during services. Faith Formation classes offer learning as well as a chance to make new friends. Music opportunities include the children’s choir as they start to grow, singing during Faith Formation classes and the Children’s Bell Choir.

Adults

The congregation at Grove is active in worship, in growing spiritually, in fellowship and in service to others.

There are opportunities to grow spiritually in Faith Formation classes, to share your path with others in small groups, to make a difference in the community in service and to have fun!

Young Adults

Young Adults at Grove are empowered to actively participate in all ministries of the church. Our young adult population is post-high school to age 40, which includes the college and career-bound, singles, couples, and young professionals.

They value serving their community, socializing, mutual support, and nurturing one another’s faith.
