Welcome to Grove Preschool……over 50 years and still growing! Grove Preschool was established in West Chester, PA in 1968. We have a proud history of helping each child make a smooth transition from home to school with our gentle and nurturing approach. Our purpose is to provide developmentally appropriate experiences in a Christian environment which will enable each child to achieve his/her full potential as an individual and in relationship with God and others. Enrollment is open to all, without regard to race or religion.

Your child’s happiness and safety are our goals. Our facility is locked and monitored during the school day to keep your children safe. Special Program: Spanish

Grove Preschool is happy to partner with Wee Play Language, a 100% hands-on foreign language program for preschoolers. Each student has a full set of materials for every lesson, so it’s always their turn. This means every student is actively engaged for the entire class. The lessons are never the same, which makes it exciting each class, but the same 200 words and expressions are emphasized all year long. It’s truly an exciting program that uses language in as natural a way as possible, which is the most effective way to learn a foreign language.

Classes are based around an engaging theme and can include stories, singing, partner/group work, and of course…. movement! Children are encouraged to have fun and enjoy themselves while also learning breathing techniques and yoga poses. Children who participate in yoga at a young age reap a variety of benefits from their practice including improved concentration and focus, reduced stress and anxiety, help with self-control, emotional well-being, and physical benefits like improved flexibility and strength.

Tuition

Tuition Policy

Tuition costs are figured on a September through May school-year basis. Each program offered by the preschool has a set tuition rate. We offer two plans for tuition payments, a Payment In-Full Plan and a Monthly Payment Plan.

Monthly Payment Plan: An initial deposit equal to the amount of 2 months’ tuition is required and due on or before May 15. The amount equal to one month’s tuition is non-refundable. The initial deposit is applied to months September and May of the child’s tuition account. Monthly payments then begin in October. October through April tuition is due on the 1st of each month. A late fee of $15 is assessed if unpaid by the 10th of the month. (Note: for programs that run October through May, the Initial Deposit is applied to October and May of the child’s tuition account and monthly payments are due November through April).

No refunds are given for illness, vacations, or storm days. Days missed due to illness, family vacations, or weather-related school closings are not made up. Falling one month behind in tuition payments may result in exclusion from the program until payment is made. If withdrawal during the year is necessary, 30 days’ written notice is required.
