Get Involved in the Grove Community
Grove = Involvement
At the level that is right for you
There are many kinds of involvement.
First one, hands on….
Grove has always been involved in working and supporting our local community, the US community and the world community, both physically and financially.
Youth and adults of all ages have done this. Building, repairing, singing for them – you name it, we have done it.
A second is caring and healing, more local based….
Caring and healing means preparing cards for the homebound and our college students, making meals for Salvation Army, working in Grove’s Community Garden, etc.
Prayer requests abound.
Fellowship comes in many different ways through Round Robin dinners, coffee hour, United Methodist Women, Community Dinners and just seeing each other in the halls and our community.
A third is learning...
Through in-person and virtual classes we can grow our minds and see where we might be able to go post-pandemic. Bible studies and small group discussions help us grow closer to God and to each other.
There are lots of great discussions and classes going on RIGHT NOW.
A fourth is sustaining Grove Church.
We need a building that works, a Steering Team that leads us, a Finance team to balance those books, a Web Team to keep this site up and rolling and a Streaming Team to keep all our virtual world working. Keeping Grove working is critical to it’s future.
We welcome all ages to join in this support, including teens and young adults. Fresh ideas, yeah!

Campus Task Force
This team is always looking for new ways to use the Grove campus to better meet our community’s needs.

Finance Team
The Finance Team provides necessary stewardship and oversight of all processes for raising, managing and dispersing church finances supporting the mission and vision of Grove UMC (“Living for Jesus, Changing Lives”.)

Program Team
Anyone who heads up a program at Grove meets quarterly with the Program Team. It is an exciting time for collaboration and moving forward with new ideas across different programs. To learn about the new and the existing programs at Grove, reach out to our current ‘Shepherds’ leading this team – ProgramTeam@GroveChurch.org.
Parish Relationships
This is the Human Resource team for Grove. It serves Grove well. Happy and unhappy notes are always welcome. Sprc@GroveChurch.org.
Trustees
The core of keeping the buildings in good condition and hosting regular workday programs is the Trustees. If you want to learn about where the hidden attic is in the loft of the church, join this group. Send Lori and team a note – Trustees@GroveChurch.org .
Web Team
The team is a diverse group of people, with varying levels of technical and non-technical skills. We learn as we go, publishing pages and posts using WordPress. We bounce ideas off each other and value each team member’s input. We’d love to have more people (and youth) join our team. Send an email to Webteam@GroveChurch.org.
Grove Stream Team
The team is a group of people who make sure the streaming worship services keep on trucking. If interested send an email to Marshall – GroveStreamTeam@GroveChurch.org. This is a great opportunity to learn about this. They would really appreciate your getting involved.
Grove Office
The Grove Office can answer all of your questions and welcome you into “supporting” the Grove community. Email Office@GroveChurch.org or call them at 610.696.2663 with any questions you have.
A fifth is spiritual...
Sunday worship and prayer vigils provide spiritual involvement.
Small Seeker Groups and Faith Formation classes offer connection and personal growth as well.
Use our library as a resource, reach out to our Pastors and Deacons for guidance and grow your spiritual life through all the resources that Grove offers.
A sixth is whatever you dream up.
Grove is a welcoming home for growing all kinds of involvement!
